Jay J. Rydberg
1959 - 2007
Jay J. Rydberg passed away on July 2, 2007, at his residence, at the age of 47. He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 17, 1959, and spent his childhood and adolescent years in Libertyville, Ill. He graduated from Libertyville High School in 1977, and attended the Vocational School of America, at the College of Lake County until 1979. Jay was owner/operator of Rinn's Professional Printing until 1988 and was president/sales manager for In-Pak Promotions Marketing Ltd. until 1997. From 1997 to 2001 Jay owned and operated The Living Room, an English style pub in Racine, Wis. For the past few years he has worked as a bartender in several local establishments, namely Ray Radigan's in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Pieces of Eight in Milwaukee, Wis., and Bombay Louie's in Kenosha. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing golf, leading karaoke sing-alongs, and cooking. Jay is survived by his brother, James (Lisa) Rydberg of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a sister, Karen Grove of Muscoda, Wis.; three nieces, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Rinn Rydberg; and his father, Fred James Rydberg. Services and internment will be private.
